The Moon Belongs to Those Who Steal It

I drew this.

Every twisted branch of that gnarled tree, every spectral form hanging from it like a secret, every shade of purple bleeding into black, the pale moon watching over it all. I put it all on the page myself, and I have to say, I’m rather pleased with how it turned out.

Thief Moon deserved a cover that understood it: gothic and gorgeous, paranormal and deeply, undeniably sensual. A cover that knows the difference between haunting and being haunted. A cover that looks at three women bound to a detective who never asked to let anyone that close, and whispers that some connections don’t ask for permission.

The tree knows. The moon knows. The hanging forms caught between worlds know.
